PC-maker HP had announced Spectre 13, world’s thinnest laptop that comes up with a new stylish design and high- end technology that takes user experience to new level. It was originally launched in the US in April and was finally arrived in India.
This new HP device was designed with a thickness of 10.4mm and thinner than both the 12-inch Macbook and 13-inch MacBook Air. It is available at a price of Rs. 1,19,990 in India, and will go on sale from July 25, 2016.
The thinnest laptop that was made with artisan materials and amazing craftsmanship sports sixth generation Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, 8GB RAM and also it supports the hyperbaric cooling technology that not just sends the heat out of the device, but it draws in cool air and takes it over the processor in order to maintain its peak performance, according to a report.
Ketan Patel, Director, Personal Systems Business, HP Inc India told to IANS that this new device was targeted mainly at the youth to mark the premium market in India.
He also noted that the company was already leader in the Indian PC market and with this new thinnest laptop, they are going to push their innovations and experiences deeper into the domestic market.
Rajiv Srivastava, Managing Director of HP noted that they were at the forefront in providing the most innovative products into the market and the new HP Spectre 13 was beautifully crafted Notebook and a reflection of what millennials aspire to be, which was exceptional, cool, dazzling and that stands out from the crowd, making an impact.
The device boasts with a durable and scratch resistant edge-to-edge Corning® Gorilla® Glass display and also it was packed with a lightning fast PCIe solid-state (SSD) with storage upto 512GB with up to 8GB of memory.
The keyboard comes with a full-size, island-style backlit keyboard, and a glass trackpad. It helps users to use even in the darker surroundings.
