One of the leading telecom companies Bharati Airtel launched its 4G services in Bihar, an East India State.

In an event held in the state, Airtel’s India and South Asia Operations Director, Ajay Puri launched the services in limited cities of Bihar like Gaya, Bhagalpur, Motihari, and Siwan including the state’s capital Patna.

Ajay Puri mentioned that the rest of the major cities in Bihar will get the 4G services in next forty-five days.

The director also stated that their customers across the 4G launched cities can now enjoy uninterrupted high-speed mobile broadband.

As per Ajay Puri, now the Airtel 4G consumers can also enjoy HD video streaming, fastest uploading and downloading of images, videos, music, and movies.

The service is available to the customers across a range of smart handsets including mobiles, dongles, and 4G hotspots, said the director.

Existing Airtel 2G and 3G SIM holders can switch to 4G with USIMs which are available at a free of cost in any of the Airtel store/retailer in the city.

“To ensure higher network capacity and superior customer experience, Airtel 4G services in Bihar have been rolled out using dual spectrum bands of 1800 MHz (FD LTE) and 2300 MHz (TD LTE),” said Ajay Puri.

As an introducing offer, the telecom company announced a new 4G offer for prepaid customers in which they can enjoy 10GB 4G data merely on a recharge of Rs 247.

On the offer, consumers can avail 1GB data instantly and the additional 9 GB data balance through My Airtel app.
